I don't understand your first question.

The third eye means the eye of wisdom. With the material eyes you can see physical incidences, and of course we must try to interpret those experiences with our intelligence. The third eye is the eye of spiritual discrimination. In other words, it is the pure intelligence by which one can understand the unseen spiritual force and how it is working and interacting with the material energy.

Your third question is nice. It is a different interpretation of the usages, but I think it is a great summary, because one who has spiritual vision will see this world as a school for spiritual development, whereas the materialist is always caught in acts of pounds and shillings calculations for various profit schemes.

If the 6th sense is simply subjective then how is that giving the life force that uses the brain as a receiver any objectivity?

I understand that there are things which we are not able to directly measure like love and hate, but is there more to the third eye other than cultural discretion?

Is the third eye, the symbolic eye that perceives the world as either a milking farm and/or a school?

Shay, I sensed a bit of a discomfort or a concern over asking the question have asked. In my observation we are all individual living beings with individual, subjective, perception of the world. Thus we are entitled to our opinions. So as I am entitled to my opinions, you are too, and I respect that. Therefore you need not ever feel discomfort about asking an honest question of me or anyone who is involved in running this website. Blessings.

When putting it like that, it does make more sense, and I can definitely see where you are coming from. Thank you for clearing that up, Mahat.

Shay, good question but it still has a flaw. I've been asked the same question before. You'll understand the absurdity of the question if you think how is it that light takes on different qualities according to the filters it passes through? Get it? Similarly, the body, including all of its parts, such as the brain for example, is but a conductor of consciousness.

I have an honest question, I'm not trying to be a smart ass. If your soul, or thinking being is just in the vehicle of your body, how come a person's personality be changed by tampering with the brain?

When he talked about Monks and dead bodies, he either doesnt know or just didnt mention that what they really do is: They meditate and help the souls find their way to the heavens or whats the correct term. Got this info from Lobsang Rampa book Third Eye
