New Year’s Kirtan at the World Beat Center
Jason and Pia organized a wonderful New Year Eve party at the famous World Beat Center in Balboa Park. Kirtan rocked the place from 10 to 11:30 pm. Shiva Ranjani is a raga. Raga is a particular scale, a set of notes, that forms numerous melodies which all maintain a very similar mood. These two kirtans were played in the shiva ranjani scale.
